Peet’s Coffee at Cal Berkeley’s Den

Off to College
with Peet’s Coffee

We got all packed up and headed off to the west coast to get The Den at Cal Berkley all ready for this year’s coffee obsessed college crew with Peet’s Coffee. But, before we show you too much, let’s back up. Let’s talk a little about how projects like this one get started. Long before the days of construction, you will find us sharing a cup of coffee with the Peet’s team and taking a walk around the space that is the future home to a refreshed Peet’s Coffee. We toss around ideas of what everyone would love to see the new space entail. Whether it is new paint and millwork, updated equipment or new offerings from the latest Peet’s innovations. Then, we get into the mindset of the architect and figure out what’s possible within the constraints of the space. That leads us to floorplans, elevations, fixtures, finishes, and signage. That’s what we call Phase One.

Now, let’s get into Phase Two!

This is where we coordinate with various trades to make sure everything comes together on time and on budget!

The construction phase of this project started with a light demo of some elements within the existing space and then quickly transitioned into the building out of the new space. This week long project was a huge success and the new and improved Den is back and open for business. Take a look at some details of the finished space.

Do you have a space that could use a refreshing? Let’s talk!
