Peet’s Coffee: Large Events Solution
Peet’s coffee came to us with another fun challenge to end out the year!
They came to us to design and develop a large format trade show booth. The booth needed to be designed in a way that was aligned with their current brand. It needed to be able to accommodate their full portfolio of offerings. It had to be modular so that it could size up and down based on the foot print of any given trade show. And, of course, it needed to be eye catching and FUN for all those attendees that are wandering the floors of any given show.
Now, if you have never had the luxury of attending a large scale trade show, the challenge may not sound as daunting. But, if you have, you know that is a lot to fit into a 10′ x 10′ space and that being memorable is key to having a successful show.
We started with a white board filled with ideas and ultimately narrowed it down to three comprehensive design approaches. We met with the Peet’s team and shared the three unique directions. Ultimately, we narrowed down to one design direction that would consist of two unique 10′ x 10′ booths. These could be combined to create a 10′ x 20′ space from time to time for those really impactful shows. From here, it was back to the drawing board, quite literally, as we developed the CAD drawings for the booth allocating space for each piece of equipment and product necessary to bring to life the experience. The details and flexibility were key in the success of the booth. We had to think through the “what if” scenarios. Providing solutions for them is what ultimately ensured this booth a long tenure as the large event display booth of choice. Things like providing digital displays for the ideal use but providing large format graphics that could be installed seamlessly over them should power be an issue.
As the design was finalized, we moved into fabrication. Here the display literally began to take shape in it’s 3D form. We were able to finesse the details of the design live and in person. We were able to ensure the premium quality and details came to life as intended. Upon approval of the shell to the design, we generated all of the graphics. We procured all of the lighting and furniture and prepared the display for its first appearance at the NACU conference in Orlando, Fl.
Here you can see some details of the booth brought to life in a 10′ x 10′ footprint. However, to truly experience the booth properly, you will need to find yourself there in person. There’s nothing quite like the smell of fresh brewed coffee while sampling the latest Nitro on tap. Until then, take a look at these images we captured from the floor of the Orlando show!
